Jill Newman

Canadian slide and electric guitarist and songwriter, Jill Newman plays guitar in a way that few women do. She’s been described as a fierce guitarist able to squeeze out a raw emotional sound, but with the technical skills to play a smoking lead solo. Jill’s most recent, CD Lovestruck Blues, features ten original blues and roots songs that showcase her lead and slide guitar work and solid songwriting. Jill and her trio perform her original brand of blues and roots music in venues and festivals throughout the PNW. Jill’s currently writing songs for her new EP scheduled for release in the fall.
