Reflecting on 2023
We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your past patronage and invite you to join us tomorrow to help celebrate the New Year! As we look back on 2023, we had a lot of fun celebrating the holidays and especially life’s special events with you. It has also been a tumultuous time in the Fairhaven neighborhood with several restaurant closures including Piazza Pizza, Fat Pie Pizza, Fairhaven Pizza, Rocket Donuts, Edaleen Dairy, Banter Fairhaven, The Swim Club, Zane Burger and the tragic loss of Harris Avenue Cafe, Independent Coffee House and Dirty Dan Harris Steakhouse.
2024 will represent Skylark’s 29th anniversary, which in itself is an accomplishment in today’s ebb and flow of the restaurant industry. We feel a deep responsibility to keep Skylark’s Cafe a viable alternative, for when making a decision on where to dine out. All restaurants continue to see operating costs continue to climb and Skylark’s Cafe makes every effort to only use the highest quality local ingredients, but also mindful to keep pricing as competitive as possible.
